What it is not yet: a payment. Payment for AI use comes when AI companies report and settle, and this record is what it will be paid against.
Do you see my work when it is scanned? No. The scan runs in your browser, on your computer. We receive the fingerprint, nothing else.
Is this copyright registration? No, and it does not replace it. Copyright in your work exists whether or not you register anywhere. See the block below: the two records do different jobs, and you want both.
What does it cost? Registration and lookup are free, permanently. Alltio earns when licensing and settlement happen, not before.

Neither record creates your copyright. That exists from the moment you fix the work. Each one creates a different kind of evidence, readable by a different kind of reader.
Read by a machine. A fingerprint-bound, timestamped statement of who owns a work and what terms apply, readable by an AI system at the moment it encounters the work. A certificate cannot be read that way, in any country. In the EU, Article 4(3) makes an expressly reserved, machine-readable declaration the thing that preserves your rights against commercial text and data mining.
An Alltio record does not confer the legal remedies that registration does. We record, we do not adjudicate, and we are not a law firm.

Read by a court. A Copyright Office registration provides legal remedies in U.S. federal court. It carries a statutory fee, requires a deposit copy of the work, and takes months.
United States law only. Most countries are Berne jurisdictions, where protection is automatic and there is no equivalent formality.
A Copyright Office registration does not create a machine-readable record that a crawler or training pipeline can check before use.
